MENTAL HEALTH & MOVEMENT PRACTITIONER

I believe mental health and movement are inseparable — healing deepens when the body is invited into the conversation. My work is grounded in the understanding that movement can regulate the nervous system, restore agency, and reconnect us with parts of ourselves that talk therapy alone may not always reach.
I hold a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education and Social Emotional Learning. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner through Mindfulnessgruppen (The Mindfulness Group) in Europe. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in Social-Emotional Learning at Antioch University and am on track to receive my Mental Health Counseling licensure from Alfred University in May 2027.
I currently practice under appropriate supervision and within the scope of my training while meeting licensure requirements.
With over 40 years of dance experience, movement is central to my practice. I integrate the five core competencies of Social Emotional Learning (SEL):

●        Self-Awareness & Responsible Decision Making Skills

●       Self-Management

●       Social Awareness

●       Relationship Skills

This work supports clients in developing embodied emotional health, resilience, and grounded presence.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions via Zoom or Google Meet.
